Over many years of totally independent travel to Italy and France, and in working with local import partners, we’ve forged relationships with well over one hundred independent winemakers whose wines had not been represented in Oregon, and in a number of cases anywhere in America. Their wines, available to our state now are made by hands-on, conscientious growers dedicated to expressing their terroir as transparently as possible.

Our firsthand accounts detail the winemakers, their terroir and philosophy and each links to available wines, photos and often descriptions for each wine. The continually updated Portraits are living introductions to the winemakers beginning with our first exposure to their work through our most recent interactions.
